The 6th Sectoral Monitoring Committee Meeting

 

The 6th Sectoral Monitoring Committee Meeting for the Environment Operational Programme was held on 22 April 2010.

 

As is known, the Sectoral Monitoring Committee for the EOP, aiming to follow the developments regularly concerning the implementation of Environment Operational Programme (EOP) and the status quo of the allocated funds in compliance with article 59 of the IPA Implementation Regulation, meets twice annually and makes decisions in order to pave the way for taking timely precautions to achieve the objectives set within the framework of the Programme, making an assessment of  the works so far carried out by the operating structure (OS). In this respect, the first meeting of the Sectoral Monitoring Committee for the EOP in 2010 was held at the Undersecretariat of the State Planning Organization of the Prime Ministry on 22 April 2010, and co-chaired by Mr. Sedat Kadıoğlu, the Deputy Undersecretary of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (MoEF) and Ms. Elena Grech, the Head of Unit in DG Regional Policy, EC.
